Jerome “Jerry” L. Brault, 58, of Fitzwilliam, NH passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Jerome was born in Leominster, MA on September 18, 1965. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie (Pellechia) Andrews, his mother, Nicole J Brault, 4 brothers, Bernard, Philip, Vincent, and Richard Brault, 2 sisters, Anne Evans and Nicole Desmarais. He also leaves behind 5 nephews, Brent, Jason, Justin, Joshua, and Jonathan, 3 nieces, Nadine, Abigail, & Catherine, and his beloved dog, Samantha. Jerry is predeceased by his father, Bernard Brault, brother, John “Chris” Brault, his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Blanche Brault and his canine companion, “JJ” whom he had for 11+ years prior to “Samantha”.
Jerome was raised in Leominster, the 7th of 8 children. He graduated from Leominster High School-Class of 83 and attended Becker Junior College and Worcester State College. Jerome had worked for Greenwood Industries/Roofers Union Local 33 where he honed his skills as a PVC Welding Specialist for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he worked for North Star Roofing Construction in Leominster.
Jerome had a great love for the outdoors, was an avid snowboarder as you would find him on the trails of Mt. Wachusett in the winter months with his friends when weather did not allow him to work, loved the years he lived on the lake, and enjoyed reading non-fiction books. Jerome played deck hockey in his younger years and he followed the Boston sports teams and many others. As mentioned, “JJ” (pictured) was a constant companion to him for over 11 years until he (JJ) got sick. Huskies were his favorite canine breed as he hand selected “Samantha” from a litter of puppies in September 2017. Jerome frequented Pulaski’s Dog park on the weekends. Samantha is now in a new loving home.
